Weltvogelpark Walsrode, Germany



Behold! The beautiful Shoebill. :heart: They're among my favourite birds; sadly, only few zoos keep them, so he was one of the birds I was most looking forward to seeing. And he didn't disappoint us, sitting pretty and being a wonderful model!

One of my all-time favorite birds, that's for sure!
Sort of like a beaked tyrannosaur (and if you look at a tyrannosaur skull you'll see the similarities in the shape of the snout) :)
