My gallery contains animal photography mostly. I don't concentrate on a certain species or class, though you'll find mainly mammals and birds.
[EDIT 2013: Okay, that was a lie. You'll still find a wide variety of animals, but there's a strong tendency towards birds of prey and owls.]

I'm back, baby!

Hello everyone

The weekend trip was fun; we went to Augustusburg for the falconry display and to Zoo Gera. The weather was okay-ish, warm and cloudy, but at least it didn't rain.
Since I've had some issues with my old (4,5 years) laptop - Firefox and parts of the touchpad not working anymore, general slowness and some other things that, though minor, have been bugging me - I bought a new one on Monday and I'm rather pleased with it so far. I'm having less trouble getting used to Win7 than I thought, though I'm afraid those digital 'post-its' will be the death of my brain... now I don't have to remember anything anymore! Whee!
Other than that, I'm doing... everything but study. Which I should. Really should...

Hi there!

I was born in March '89 near Leipzig/Germany and have been living there until autumn of 2010, when I moved to the coast of the Baltic Sea. I'm a trainee at the moment, single and living alone.

As my ID pic suggest, I work with animals and I've been fascinated by them for my whole life. I've always taken photos of them, but my photography started getting serious in 2009. I bought my DSLR in 2010 and I've been happy ever since.

I love almost all animals, with a soft spot for cats (big and small), owls and birds of prey, foxes and wolves, parrots, and monkeys. My special lovelies are animals with ear tufts (lynx, caracals, eagle owls, and the like) and unusual patterns (go check out marbled polecats!)
